Wild Game
All wild game must be tagged & registered.
We will ensure you get YOUR OWN DEER roasts, steaks, chops & deboned trimmings back. Other sausage product will be made in batches with others meat. Milaca Meats does not perform individual batches. Standard processing does not include grinding.
All product will be paper wrapped. Milaca Meats does not vacuum package wild game.
Follow safe handling practices. Milaca Meats reserves the right to reject or dispose of any meat that is spoiled, unsanitary, includes fragmented bone, or is mishandled in anyway.
Price is based on batch weight, taken after product is ground and seasoned, but prior to smoking & packaging.
Prices include the stated amount of pork or beef mixed in for each item accordingly.
If you’d like your hide back there is an extra charge of $20.00 and we must be notified at drop off.
Estimated “take home” yields after smoking:
Jerky 50% - 60% of wet weight (billing is based on wet weight)
Ground Bacon 80% - 90% of wet weight (billing is based on the wet weight)
Summer Sausage 85% to 90% of wet weight (billing is based on the wet weight)
Sticks 85% to 90% of wet weight (billing is based on the wet weight)
Smoked Brats, Ring Bologna & Hot Dogs 85% to 90% of wet weight (billing is based on the wet weight)
Antlers or head must be removed prior to drop off. If we do it there is a $20 fee.
Caping & euro mount fee is due at the time of drop off, and you will take home same day.
This facility processes products containing allergens including but not limited to soy, wheat, fish, milk and eggs. If you have any food allergies we make NO GUARANTEE that the product won’t be exposed to potential allergens.
We will call you when your order is complete. Orders not picked up within 10 days of receiving a call will be charged $10 per box per week in storage fees.
